Your Image on Social Media

This story is from the COVID days, when I listened to Rehan Allahwala and started making videos. My freelancing journey was just starting, and my bank job was still going on. My routine was to wake up at 4 a.m. and watch freelancing courses, be free by 6 and get ready for the bank, and before breakfast make a video on any topic.

In the village, the morning weather is very fresh and beautiful, and it gave the videos a really nice colour. Now, I have a very bad habit: I don’t shave regularly, and I still have this habit today.

When you work in a bank and you are front counter staff (I was the operations manager), the bank’s customers will definitely add you on Facebook, because when you talk every day, becoming friends is natural.

So one day I made a video, uploaded it, reached the bank and got busy with my daily work. Around 11 or 12, a very dear friend, who was the manager of a cotton factory, came to the bank for some work.

Before going to the cash counter, he came straight to me

He said: Is everything okay?

I was surprised and replied: Yes bhai, everything is fine. Why, what happened?

He said: I saw your video. From your face, I thought you were about to commit suicide or something. Then I saw you were saying who knows what about freelancing and online, so I closed the video.

The only thing was that my beard had grown too much 😁
